External storage vs Built in storage

Hi, I am new to PDA's and, so far, my new Axim X5 is great. I opened Explorer in ActiveSync to move files to the external SD card. I searched for a name for the external card and only found Built-in Storage. I moved files to the built-in storage. Is this the external SD card? If not, what name should I find for the card? I have no other extenal cards installed.
How can I prove what files are on the external card?

Duh! I just realized the SD card slot was filled with a dummy card to protect the slot....never thinking that it was NOT a real card I assumed it was storage. Its amazing what you learn after you stick your neck out there and act stupid.... I have a 128MB card coming this week. Then I can play. Thanks everyone for your patience. :D
