Well I just found out from a very indifferent customer service department (including a "supervisor"), and after waiting for over 40 minutes to speak with someone, that my Axim that was confirmed for Jan 10 delivery would not be shipped until about February 10. When I asked for a phone number to contact their corporate offices, they didn't know of one.
This is the first and last time that I'll deal with Dell.
If you're thinking of buying from Dell in Canada, think again!!

You will be happy when you get it. The price for this unit by far beats any other on the market. The quality of the unit is good and the support after the purchase is decent as well. You will also to be able to say "Dude, I got a Dell!" I know that it is fustrating to wait, I had to wait about a month for my unit. The Dell has an SD and a CF slot, which many others do not.

Dell did not anticipate this many orders for this unit. The 300 Mhz version is so backed up right now. I believe that Dell is doing everything that they can. I know that they are throwing in free overnight shipping to help resolve the issue. I guess that is the problem when you buy from a non brick and mortar company. It is not like you can go to another store to buy this unit.

I guess Ebay would be another option...LOL

UPDATE
Guess the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
Just been informed that my order has been shipped.
Also spoke with someone at corporate customer service - extremely helpful.
