Fatal Alert after repeated Hard Resets

I recently recieved a Palm m500 from my employer, and was installing software and generally messing around. The last thing I did was install Afterburbner 3.1 along with a couple other things.

My PALM crashed and refuses to boot even after a hard reset. I still recieve a message stating Fatal Alert: Fatal Exception


I tried letting the battery die and then resetting again but to no avail.

Let me tell you how I do a Hard Reset and we can compare notes.
Hold down the Power On button. At the same time poke the reset pin in the reset hole. Remove the reset pin but continue to hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds. Now let the power button go. You should see a screen offering to remove all of your data if you push the scroll up button. Say Yes, by pushing the scroll up and you have done the Hard Reset.
If this is just what you have been doing then I have no answer for you.
