Hi there,
I've ordered a Palm Tungsten, and I expect it any day. However, I'm curious about it's ability to connect to the company email server from a celluar phone dial-up connection.
I've used Windows CE devices since 1999, and synchronisation works fine even with dial-up. Does it work with Palm devices too?
If so -- does it synchronise with the server IMAP protocol directly, or does it (as in the case with Windows CE / Pocket PC) connect to the Palm Desktop utility on my desktop computer?
I will probably get a "nice" surprise when the unit arrives, but feel free to fill me in... ;)
