M515 not charging

My M515 has stopped charging on the cradle. However, I am still able to perform HotSyncs. Any ideas? :confused:

Let me know how you make out with this. I have noticed that I am starting to have this very same issue. I have also noticed if I rock my 515 side to side a little it will start charging.

THis is a Palm approved and recommende proceedure:
Put your Palm in the charger/Hotsync Cradle with the charger on. While it is connected, tip it forward far enough to push the rest without disconnecting the Palm from the cradle. After it resets let it charge for at least 2 to 4 hours. If this fails you will need to do a Hard Reset while in the Palm is in cradle.
A hard reset will remove all data so be sure to have the unit backup before you do this. The hard reset is as follows: Hold down the Power button. At the same time poke the reset pin in the reset hole. Remove the reset pin and continue for 10 to 15 seconds to hold the Power button down. Let the power button go. You should see a screen offering to remove all of your data if you push the scroll up button. Say Yes and you have done the Hard Reset.

Did everything you suggested, it did not help. It just removed everything from my palm.

Well just got off the phone with Palm support, they tell me my palm is defective and to return it to the store. Drmud, they had me do all the things you already asked me to do, thanks for your help. Well off to the store to get a new palm.
