Question No railway stations on POI's?

Is this right? I was showing off the virtues of the Q the other day and someone asked me to show their nearest railway station but I couldn't find it, is this just specific to europe or am I doing something obviously wrong?

Just looked here in the USA. Train stations are listed, but under Ground Transportation.

Don't know anyone who has actually ridden one

The logic and thoroughness of the POI database is a mystery. The American national passenger train system is called AMTRAK. Looking in my neck of the woods, I know Amtrak has scheduled stops in El Paso, Texas; Deming and Lordsburg, New Mexico; Benson, Tucson, Maricopa, and Yuma, Arizona. The POI only lists Tucson. There are actual physical stations in El Paso and in Maricopa. The others only have small shelters for waiting passengers. El Paso and Maricopa are not listed. But Phoenix, Arizona is. There is a station there but no train. The train does not go to Phoenix anymore. Hasn't for 10 years. But you can go to the station to catch a bus to catch the train.

The criteria for Transit Services versus Ground Transportation are also shrouded in mystery. Taxicabs, ambulances, shuttles, and et cetera are listed in Transit Service. Intercity buses are not. In my town, intercity bus depots are called Transit Centers but are listed in Ground Transportation. Intracity buses (sometimes called the Greyhound monopoly) are listed in both, sometimes. In one or the other, sometimes. And of course we should not forget listed in some cities not at all.

UK tube stations show as car icons which is quite laughable as very few tube stations allow parking. Take Oxford Street station for example. A car park icon would be fine but only if there is a collection service available to park your car for you.

Hopefully a distant release of CS Europe will show tubes using the Tube icon. Until then, it's all quite confusing.
