Worth confused with Value
I saw someone post, basically an ad instead of a comment here regarding a 2x00 (I believe 2100). The person sent a lengthy list of items bundled with their 2x00, but they also wanted $2100 for it - seven years after it's discontinuation. For Pete's sake - it originally sold for $1100-$1200.I feel I can speak from experience as a Mac user of 20 years, and an MP owner of 120, several 130, and now several 2100's. I've sold all our Newts except a few of the 2100's. Although I value my Newts very much - I also don't confuse their worth with today's current PDA market . The Newt is awesome and still outperforms MANY PDA's, but lets face it folks - it's falling behind. Regardless the fact the number of Newts I own along with all our accessories, software and gear (about 5x what this person has) there's no way I could get two grand for ALL my gear. *MAYBE* a 2100 will be worth $2k in another 20 years, but PLEASE... don't confuse value with market worth. Be smart with your technology and honest with "worth" and "value." The Newton & Mac community is known for it's helpulness. Don't be one of the people who gives it a bad name. my 2¢ (thanx)

A nice start
Though this so called PDA is a nice start, Apple needs to develop a kind of PDA with an OS-X compatible interface. Give this PDA word processing capabilities as well as an optional near full sized keyboard. This is an Apple concept, and is far beyond the hopes of any PC. Maybe the next device could play off of the I-Pod and new I-Mac buzz thats been generated.

Way Ahead of its Time
This thing is absolutely amazing - it can do everything that a top of the line Pocket PC can do, save have a color screen. It has well over a thousand programs written for it, can connect to the internet wirelessly, use GPS, send email, etc. It has beefy system specs for its size, and I strongly suggest picking one up - you can get one on ebay for well under $200 - I got mine for $76 including shipping. The handwriting technology is as good as anything out there today, and a Pocket PC with similar stats would run hundreds and hundreds of bucks.
