I use DictoMail to read my voicemail on my 7135
The Kyocera 7135 works great with my DicoMail voicemail to text service. My Kyocera checks my email every 15 minutes, so I can read my voicemail messages while in the conference room meetings.

Alltel / Insurance / Product Guard
FYI...If you are paying for product guard / insurance on the Kyocera 7135 from Alltel you should immediately request a refund since the purchase date. The insurance will not pay for replacement/repair if the phone is lost/stolen/damaged/etc...This can be verified by contacting 800-255-8351 Alltel's Customer Service; most local offices are not aware of this policy.

Awesome Capabilities
This is my first PDA phone and impressed with all it has to feature, ease of use and the vast capabilities. I figured the learning would be long and cumbersome but I conquered the basics and then some in an evening.

best yet
I have had my 7135 and it seems to be what I have been searching for for years. Some of the features - such as the MP3 and the Internet - were difficult to set up but tech support was very helpful. The phone has both phone service and access to the Internet along with MP3, a downloadable Palm Reader, the usual datebook(prefer 3rd-party AGENDUS), address, to do and memo.I easily installed a dozen 3rd party programs such as Avantgo, AOL mail, SprayPaint(for kewl colors), travel applications such as WorldMate and a couple of games. In short, it has everything - music, mail, ebooks, games and much more including the cell phone all in a compact unit. Returned several other similar products but in my opinion this is a winner.

Love my 7135
I've had my 7135 for about two months now. It is a fabulous device. Everything from my 6035 and more. The color screen is way better than the other converged devices I have looked at. Good battery life as a phone, but the color display eats the juice when playing games (real Tetrus!) or surfing the net. This only tends to be a problem when I'm sitting in the airport waiting for a flight. Just carry a spare battery (about 1.5"x 3"x.3"). If you are a regular Palm user and have a cell phone too, then this is the device for you. Yes, they will be a little pricey, but that will drop in a few months (6035 started at $600 and my friend got his for $50 after about 10 months).

About my only gripe is that the holster spins 360 degrees (and I'm working to get them to change it).

Waiting patiently
I've been using a Palm IIIxe and an old Motorola phone that are both about to fall apart. I have come close to buying new machines on a few occasions but I have forced myself to wait. The 7135 really does have everything I want in both. As for the criticism of graffiti - graffiti is THE REASON I bought a Palm in the first place and is a big part of the reason I'll buy the 7135.

Cannot upgrade Palm OS on 7135
I'm very wary of the 7135 as one cannot updated the Palm OS.
