Good value at the discount price
This is a good organizer if you can get it inexpensively. I would not be happy with the current functionalty at full retail price. I can get used to the data entry which is a little cumbersome. Transfering data from the organizer to the phone is a good idea, but I had the phone first with names and numbers that I can not move simply to the organizer.

suggestions and features to add:
1) a backlit screen.
2) expense tracking. (on the calendar)
3) schedule "to do's"(on the calendar)
4) load data from the phone to the organizer.

I would be willing to pay more for these extra features.

Need a calc option - Necesita una calculadora
Is very good products, but need the calc option. Need a web for download the install soft.

Es muy bueno, pero necesitaria una calculadora. Tambien seria bueno un sitio de donde bajar el software instalador.

Worth the price - but with reservations
This organizer does a great job of receiving Outlook information (calendar, contacts, todo, memo) and keeping you in synch with your fixed computer. It is handy too because it hangs onto the startac (to make a kind of fat but useful single device). Plenty of storage unless you are a sales guy with 1000's of contacts.

PROs. Handy. Always with your phone so you don't forget it. 1000 name database with most Outlook fields transferred to the organizer. Batteries last about 6 months.

Cons: A bit bulky - phone is no longer pocket size. Data entry is very cumbersome (you scroll through alphabet to select a letter). Even though it receives many fields from Outlook (like meeting notes), you can't enter much more than basic info (e.g. you can't add those meeting notes through the keypad). The bigger size makes it susceptible to getting hung on clothing.

More than expected - it sure worth it's price
This was a good surprise for me: just by seeing the package I wasn't able to figure out what this little gadget could do.
The Clip-On Organizer let's you store many contacts, to-do lists, events, memos and more. It's interface is quite simple, yet powerful and intuitive. Believe me - adding data on-the-road or updating it is not a difficult job, as it may appear. Syncronizing data with your PC, Palm or even Yahoo!... Piece of cake!
The only un-cool things are that there's no illumination of the display, making things harder when there's no light around. And, for updating or adding data, a pen computing interface would be not bad... But, these may rise the price so much, so, this is one of the best what-you-get-for-your-money relations available today.
If I was you and had a StarTAC, TimePort or Talkabout series phone, I would be knocking on the door of the store near you, asking for one of these Organizers. That's all!
