I LOVE THIS PHONE!
I run a small business completely with this phone... contact names, phone/fax numbers, addresses (street city state zip country) email addresses, web site addresses, company name, title, notes... I have a nanny service and have kids names, birthdays, contact dates, directions, appointments, to-do lists, alarms, etc. in this phone. I have yet to find another phone with any carrier that will do all of this!! Sprint (the customer non-service company!) will no longer supply the current upgrades to the phone hardware, and Neopoint's web site is gone. Any help out there?? I like the phone so well I have 3 backups for it, but can't get the current upgrades for the firmware... TIA... Carol

NeoPoint 1000 SoftSynch Software
Ever since Neopoint went out of business, people like myself may have misplaced or lost the original software. I wasn't sure where to post this but thought this might help some people.

If anyone needs the software though, I have the SoftSync Plus software that works with the Neopoint 1000 and possibly the 1600 model. I have version 1.2 and 2.0
The software will work with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 2000 and XP.

SoftSync Plus, powered by Intellisync* version 1.2 supports
the following PIMs:
-- ACT! 3.0.8/4.0.2
-- Lotus Organizer 97
-- Intellisync* Mobile Desktop V1.0
-- Microsoft Outlook 97/98

for the NP1000 phone.

I had to pay a lot to get a hold of it, but will be glad to help people out if they do need it since it was such a pain to find.

Excellent features and easy to use
The neopoint 1000 is the best phone i've ever used. It's options and features were superb especially the fact that there is almost no limit to how many names you can add and list in the phone's directory. Although i dropped it in saltwater and no longer am able to use it, it was still a great phone.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A BLUETOOTH MODEL
I STILL THINK IT IS THE BEST DESIGNED PHONE. NUMBERS AND SCREEN GLOW IN THE DARK, NUMBERS BIG ENOUGH TO SEE. AN EXCELLENT BACK-BOTTON I MISS, REALLY HOPE SOMEONE PICK UP DESIGN, ADD BLUETOOTH, MAKE IT FOR ALL CARRIERS AND COMPATABLE WITH ALL BLUETOOTH POCKET PC'S. AND LET ME KNOW WHERE TO BUY ONE.
