Love the size
This is a great basic PDA. I prefer it's size to features that sound cool, but after the first week probably don't get much use (Built in camera, playing MP3s, color (OK it's used, but not reaaly useful), games, 100'sMeg memory, etc)

Loved it and Lost it
I used my Rex 6000 all the time. I accidently left it in my rental car in Portland, Oregon. I guess I will have to try and buy another on ebay. A wonderful small tool.

Love my Rex
I call my Rex 6000 my brain's "2MB RAM ugrade". I couldn't function as a project engineer without it! I wear it everywhere; others often leave their Palm sized PDA's back at their desk or home (usually at lunch). With it's credit card size, I just whip out my PDA from my shirt pocket - phone numbers, memos, tasks, calculator, whatever - and I've got it. Best Buy and Circuit City sales people just look puzzled when I show my year-old Rex 6000 compard to whatever they offer. I have no troubles synching (using newer software from website and USB cradle) Outlook (Office 2000 or XP) memos, calendar events, tasks, or contacts - takes about 45 seconds, flawlessly.
Data entry via the nice touch screen is no problem. There are games available thru web to download. The after market programming folks at www.rex6000.org are GREAT! I highly recommend the Rex 6000.

Now if only there was a cell phone available with a PCMCIA slot (for synching)...

I love it!!
You have got to love it if you love its size. It is my daily companion. I do everything on Outlook, then pop REX into my PCMCIA slot and sync. Comes in a little case to protect it which I put in my purse. Takes up so little space I hardly know it is there. Until I am stuck for some info, and it is there.
It is not designed to be used for inputting info. If you want to do that on the REX, you have the wrong idea. It is great to add an address or memo or such. But the bulk of the info needs to be entered via PC.
There are even a few games available for use on it. However, Xircom is taking there sweeet time making them available so they are only in Japanese right now. But they work.
If size is essential to you, REX is great!

Love the PDA, hate the synch software
Xircom have stunned the REX user world by dropping the excellent TruSynch software in favour of very primitive and painfully slow software from Intellisync. And it is truely and awfully SLOW.

The 600 is easy to use, has a touch screen and does almost everything I ever wanted a REX to do, but HATE the SYNC software.
