DEU 1.2 and XP
I had no problem at all getting this program to work with Windows XP. I installed it, hooked up my Zaurus in PC Link Cable mode, and told the DEU to find it. It worked perfectly. It isn't a super fancy program, but it gets the job done right.

So far, so good!
Have used the software and have had excellent results with my Zaurus ZR-3000. Purchased the ZR-3000 through eBay and have been able to transfer Document Files with the Data Transfer Utility into my PC as .TXT files and convert easily to WORD.DOC. Also complete Backup and Restore has worked well so far. Have not tried OUTLOOK transfer as yet, but will give it a try soon. So far, GOOD results.
