PST files are the main storage database for MS Outlook which contains all the items of the user mailbox. These files contains all the emails, email attachments, contacts address books, journals, notes, tasks, appointments, schedules, etc. PST files or the Personal Folder File can be located through the path C:Documents and SettingsUser_idLocal SettingsData FilesMicrosoftOutlookOutlook.PST. These files have predefined size limits depending on the MS Outlook version. Whenever PST files gets overloaded with emails and other mailbox items, the size limit exceeds and this leads to PST corruption.
