RSI Clock is a Palm application that warns when it's time take a break from your computer
work. This with the intention to prevent RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury).
I've been told on a RSI prevention course to take a break from the keyboard a after a period
of work. Several software programs are available to signal you when it's time to have a break.
Unfortuantely these programs work on one computer. They are of no use to be, because I
work on several computers simultaniously.
To resolve this problem, I've written a program for the computer I alway carry with me: My
PalmPilot.
The benefit of the PC break reminder software is that they automatically notice when you
work, and also the intensity of your work. With RSI Clock you have to indicate yourself
when you start en end working. Because there is no interaction with the PC, the breaks
scheduale will be based only on time, not on work intensity. Since there is no connection
between palm and PC, RSI Clock cannot stop you from continuing your work when it's time
to have a break. (Some people might call this an advantage.
New: In this version MIDI records, instead of system sound, are used to warn you.
