Our Software Database is extremely user friendly but sometimes questions do arise. This FAQ will answer most of your questions regarding our database. If you have other concerns, or your question is not answer here, please send us e-mail page.

1. Does your site own any of the software titles in the database?
    No. You can download third-party software that our site indexes, but please remember that we do not create, endorse, or sponsor that software. We provide a "virtual" database of software on the market. If you download any third-party materials that we index, you do so completely at your own risk.

2. Does your site sell any of the software titles in the database?
    No. We only indexes third-party files.

3. Does your site support any of the software titles in the database?
    No. For all support the program's author should be contacted.

4. How do I download a program?
    For each listing in the database you'll find several links -- ZIP, EXE, etc. If the icon next to one of these links is lighted you can click on the appropriate link and save the program to your disk. If the download icon is greyed, no file for that format is provided. Once you click on the link you'll be prompted to save the file to disk. Simply choose the place on your hard drive that you'd like to save the file to, and you're all set.

5. How do I install a program?
    Please see your device manual for instructions. This varies from device to device and platform to platform.

6. Why do some listings have Zip files and others have EXE?

7. How do I know which format I need?
    The software listing may tell what minimum OS is required. Also, you may require a particular format depending on your processor type for some devices.

9. How do I find the author's home page?
    In each listing a link appears to go to the Author's page. This link takes you to the home page of the program's author.

10. How do I know how long the download will take?
    When available the file size for each file is given. This should give you some indication of the speed of the download. Of course it all depends on your connected speed to the Internet. We offer an approximate download time on the software listing page.

13. How do I submit my own software to the database?
    Submitting your software is extremely easy. Simply fill out our Software Submit Form and we'll take care of it. Alternately, you may register as a developer and have real time access to add and update titles in our database. Please note that there are guidelines to what we will accept. You must provide a shareware program or functional demo, and you must provide us with direct links to the download files. We will not link to registration forms.
